Graduate Officer - Mariah Rahman
As the dedicated officer for pre-registration trainee pharmacists the Graduate Officer acts as a central contact point for trainees and to organise events for trainees.
My name is Mariah, and I have graduated from the University of Birmingham.
I will be commencing my foundation training year at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
It is a privilege to have been elected into this position.
Having attended three BPSA Annual Conferences, I have witnessed firsthand the dedication and effort the association invests daily to secure a better future for its members.
This experience has inspired me to contribute to the BPSA’s mission and build a platform for trainee pharmacists across the country.
My goal is to make the journey of a student, the transition from a student to a trainee, and the experiences of a trainee be insightful, successful, and inclusive.
During my mandate, I intend to organise training days with different education providers, host a graduate conference, distribute graduate newsletters, continue Trainee Teusday quizzes, run campaigns, and gather GPhC feedback for the June and November sitting.
I am excited to begin my role, and work with the talented executive team to advocate for the voices of our members.
